About
I write crime and psychological thrillers shaped by moral tension, emotional precision, and the quiet violence of human choices. Born in Brazil and now based in the UK, I’ve lived across Europe, carrying with me a fascination for how people hide, lie, and break under pressure. That mix shaped my voice: sharp, lean, atmospheric, and often described as both strong and cinematic, where character truth drives the mystery.
My work sits at the literary edge of the genre, drawing on the psychological intimacy of Machado de Assis, the precision of Flaubert, the restraint of Hemingway, and the rhythm and momentum of Chandler, McCarthy, Ellroy, and John Hart. Their influence appears in my focus on clean lines, tight pacing, and secrets that shape every decision.
Before writing, I built a career in audit and corporate finance—a world where power moves quietly and truth is rarely simple. I weave that experience into stories about institutions under strain and people forced into impossible choices.
I’m currently publishing short crime fiction and completing my debut novel. My short story “All That Green Around” will appear in Mickey Finn: 21st Century Noir, Volume 7.
